There are two types of people I admire the most, poets and musicians. As life would have it, April would be the month for both poerty and jazz.
Admittidly I was never a fan of poetry when I was in high school, mostly because I hated anilyzing it. However, poetry became an out let for me my freshman year in collded. I use to think that I wasn’t any good till after I started sharing my work with a few people. I realized that like everything else, you have to be inspried in order to create something worth while.
So I wanted to share with you some inspried and inspiring pecies.

The mask comes off and the daggers come out
Pleas stop. Pleases stop talking out both sides of you mouth your making a mess

I’m tired of walking on egg shells broken glass waiting for that coin to drop
Tired of waiting to see how you feel today.
Waiting to see how you will talk to me when you will talk to me if you will talk to me
I’m sorry H. Dent.
I’m sorry you got burnt and disfigured and feel I’m partly to blame.
But I’m sorry I can’t take the blame for choosing to stay that way
I tried to heal the scares to make things right or least make them better.
But you refused treatment.
You chose to walk around with those scares for the world to see
The severity of your burnt face is heightened by your scared heart.

How am I suppose to appriciate those who act so shady. Who tell my story with out my concent. Who turn fact into fairy tales so they can look like a hero. Who say they have my back while they pull the dagger out, their hands stained with blood.
Help me comprehend
Why would I need defending if people don't open their mouth.
They say if walls could talk... but wait... the walls that would have a tale to telll are under lock and key.
Please explain why I should happilly accept advise never asked for or previously disscued given for the first time from a stage in front of a crowd of people I don't know.
Please help me understand. I want to comprehend. Please help me understand.
Just Trying to Get Closer to God

When i get out the bed my feet hits the floor. Lord i know i disappointed you from the night before. Can i get a chance from you one more. I just want to be a better man. I outlined the whole thing so i got a plan with your guidance i can make it. I feel so ashamed like Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden when they discovered they were naked. God i thinking i'm braken I still look at your works and think there so amazing I'm out here lusting over these women praying that the perfect girl is waiting but living this way i'm going about it the wrong way. I wishing for purity but instead of seeing white i see black all day Hold up life ain't over I got to be a Warrior not soldier. I follow no orders except from life holder. I got to stand my ground eventhough i'm not a bad man even with myself sometimes i can't stand because i know i can be better i need to be getting on a spiritual grind purify my mind. I just got to be a better man so i can touch the sky like the sunshine If it was in my will i would rewind time and wouldn't do things that i did but i can't look back on the past I just want to get closer to God because times running out fast!
I love Music. Like I said before I have a great admoration for those who can play an instrument, especially string. I lthink I first fell in love when listening to the Entertainer in my elemntary school music class, and may be becam intersted in jazz when listiending to Duke Elington and Luis Amrstrong in that same class. I don’t listen to a lot of jaz now but I do love listening to the music that was insirped buy jazz. In my onpion jazz gave birth to sould soul music, and I can listen to soul and neo sould all day.
