Your may fell like your are not finding what you want, eco friendly clothing are hard to find, or are more expensive then you would like them to be. Well… I will let you in on a little secret, a great way to find eco friendly clothes at a reasonable price are consignment shops and thrifts stores. Yes I said it, thrift shops. Trust me at a good thrift store you can find designer items in fairly good conditions, sometimes only worn a few times, at a fraction of the price.
How is this eco friendly, because it is recycling? Ever heard of one man’s trash…well isn’t that the point of recycling is to talk something old and make it into something new.
So earth day is on a Thursday this year, why not take the weekend to do some green shopping. Check out a consignment shop thrift store good will or Salvation Army. Stop by a yard sale, not only are you being eco friendly but saving money. You can also find some unexpected items that may not found anywhere else and begin developing a unique look.
